As my title says 'It feels like YEARS' since I've blogged. I feel like there is a lot to blog about, but can't think of a thing. Besides I could probably make a book if I blogged everything. So, my goal is to pick one significant thing or I should say topic to blog about.
Okay.......I think I just sat here for at least 5 minutes (too long) trying to think of one thing to blog about. Nothing is coming to mind. I think I might just talk a little on how long I've been in IA for.
I have been living in IA for 7 1/2 months now. It's hard to believe it's been that long. Amazing how time flies. I still enjoy it here and the bouts of homesickness (for my parents and Colorado) aren't near as strong or often. It is beginning to feel like 'home'. Like I have said in a past blog, Colorado will ALWAYS be considered home, but I think I can now talk about Iowa as being my home as well. It is amazing to look back over the past year or so and see all the changes and things that God has done. Can you believe I am actually living in IA!!
I went to an Italian restaurant in downtown Des Moines with my boyfriend (yes, my boyfriend) on Friday night. It is one of the best restaurants I have been to. Thank you to starvingforsunshine for suggesting Centro! It is amazing food, amazing atmosphere, and amazing service!! If you ever get a chance... check it out!
Well, this is it for now. I will try and do a better job and blogging more often.
